They are so lovely but many patterns really are pretty advanced. Leah is just at the point where she can do that type of craft with any proficiency. For the younger ones the best way to make beaded snowflakes is with silver pipe cleaners and large beads. It's not quite the same look but they are pretty and it takes much less skill to accomplish. I should have added those easier ones to the post where I mentioned beaded snowflakes.
